Shop and merchant data. Shop domain, Shopify identifiers, and authentication data required to operate the App. We may receive merchant contact details from Shopify when provided for support or billing.
App configuration. Consent banner settings, labels, regional rules, and integration preferences stored to deliver the App.
Consent logs. When shoppers interact with the banner, the App records consent events, consent state, region, page URL, user agent, and a pseudonymous session identifier.
Storefront storage. The App stores consent choices in browser storage and sets a consent session cookie to remember a shopper's preferences.

How we use information

Provide, maintain, and improve the App.
Display and manage the consent banner according to your settings.
Send consent signals to integrations you enable (for example, analytics or advertising platforms).
Troubleshoot, secure, and prevent abuse of the App.

Data roles

When we process shopper or storefront data on your behalf, you are the data controller and we act as a service provider/processor to deliver the App. You are responsible for determining the legal basis for processing and for providing required notices to your shoppers.

How we share information

With Shopify. To authenticate and operate the App as required by Shopify.
With service providers. We use trusted vendors to host and operate the App. They process data only to provide services to us.
With integrations you enable. If you enable integrations, consent signals and related configuration may be shared with those providers.
No sale of data. We do not sell personal information.
Legal and safety. If required to comply with law, enforce policies, or protect rights.

Data retention

We retain App data for as long as needed to provide the App and to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. You can request deletion of your App data by contacting [email protected].

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information we process. No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Merchant responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring your storefront disclosures and privacy policy accurately describe how you use cookies, tracking technologies, and integrations enabled through the App.
